Our Founder
David Hensel, PE LEED AP
President
David Hensel is the President of Hensel Consulting Engineers and is a licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer in the State of California. Mr. Hensel graduated from the University of Michigan (Cum Laude) with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2000 (Go Blue!). He relocated to Southern California in 2001 and has been providing creative engineering solutions to the Federal Government, local municipalities, general contractors, architects and home owners ever since. Mr. Hensel has served as the lead mechanical engineer on projects with construction costs totaling over $1,000,000,000 and has gained a reputation as a go to source for mechanical engineering services throughout the region.

We needed Title24 and Cal Green report as part of a permit for house renovation project in Palo Alto. David from Hensel Consulting Engineers, Inc. was quick with competitive pricing. I am in the middle of a modification to a San Francisco rental home with just lowering the slab on a room and I have ran in to an very over zealous San Francisco planning and building department on the getting a permit. As I am trying to get this complete asap to retain a renter, I am running in to a deadline as I was told I needed a title 24 completed. I searched the internet and communicated with a couple of groups and I found Hensel Consulting Engineers to be the best in communication of what was needed to complete the title 24 and the turnaround.
